    Q.What do you do in your current “Statistics” position?

    We monitor the operation status daily by collecting and charting data such as incoming calls, resolution calls, and call times for each interaction channel with customer. We are also working to derive incentives and KPI indicators based on statistical data.

    You should always be able to tell the business situations that are happening today by the number. It is also important to manage numbers that change in real time without making an error and to suggest directions for generating profits in future business plans based on statistical data.

    I always try to keep my sharpness at data work. However, we maintain the habit of working with the tension as tiny error can cause big problems. We are constantly studying Excel application and professional books necessary for statistical work.

    When I first started statistical work, I worked on the incentive of the counselor and the manager KPIs. When I posted the first announcement without any error, the pride was indescribable. The sense of accomplishment that 'I finally became a statistics officer' has been the foundation for my job.

    We evaluate the quality of customer services. We manage the overall quality of service through agent coaching, evaluation, and regular monitoring of customer interactions.

    It's important to do mind control that help you stay calm even in emergency situations. In addition, we should coach agents with warm heart, not in authoritative way, but at the same time need to maintain an objective view.

    In order to accurately monitor the quality, we need to fully understand all the detailed work knowledge, processes, issues and events that change in real time. In addition, we always strive to improve coaching skills so that agents can provide effective consultation to customers.

    Q.What do you do in your current "Training" position?

    We carry out general training-related work to improve the quality of agents’ work as a specialist. We train new agents with the fundamental work knowledge and offer existing agents the training for the service quality improvement. We also update training materials that reflect the latest trends.

    I think it's important to have high EQ. Trainers should know exactly what the trainees do not understand during the training, also need to pinpoint the problems the existing agents have during the interaction with customers. It is required to be confident at work and has an open mind that actively listens to dives opinions. You need “Good Ears” to listen carefully and respect the diversity and “Confidence” to set up right attitude.

    I try to interact with the agents as much as possible. These communications allow me to identify what kind of problems they have and what worries they have and try to find the solution in their shoes.

    There was an agent who never cared about CSAT score or quality evaluation, and was always included on the list of bottom three. Through continuous interview with her, I explained the incentive rules based on CSAT score to draw her attention. As a result, CSAT score and quality evaluations were highly improved. That experience was very rewarding to me and reminded me that accurate interviews and coaching are extremely important.

    We are working on AI broadcasting operation and system planning&analysis. We plan digital systems and services necessary for operating contact centers and analyze the operating indexes to optimize the digital system.

    Above all, I think the work experience on various projects and jobs is the most important. When I check for the prerequisites for the introduction of a new digital system, I often find the history of the previous projects more helpful than flashing ideas. In addition, smooth optimization after the new system introduction was possible because we knew the key operating issues inside out based on the previous job experiences.

    We work on projects and try to document all of the history. In addition, we search for the trend-related articles on A.I. and digital systems.

    It was the most rewarding when the U ROVA 1.0 projects using A.I was launched after numerous tests for a long time. I felt our hard work was paid off when I saw that the system was actually applied in operations and was able to check the customer's responses in real time.

    We support managers and agents to perform smoothly all the computational tasks at workplaces and training rooms.

    I think identifying root causes of the problem and providing prompt solution are the most important. When an IT error occurs, it must be solved as soon as possible to operate the contact center smoothly, and it is critical to identify the exact cause of problem. Also, having a lot of interests in computer is helpful to perform this job.

    We are in charge of the consignment sales for the face to face selling among various sales channels of telecommunication companies. We conduct B2C and B2B sales through establishing sales database.

    In my opinion, communication skills and intuition are the key. Face to face selling can only be successful when you fully understand the needs of customers through communication and constantly provide alternatives that are close to “the right solution”. The right solution can vary by each customer, so you need to always listen to the customers and build your intuition in order to understand their needs correctly.

    We are in charge of the security of the UBASE Center. Our main tasks include the trespassing control, visitor reception, escort service for the clients, and the parking management.

    One time, an upset customer came directly to our center to complain and I had to deal with him in person. I first tried to understand his difficulties through communication then transferred the case to the relevant department. The issue got settled without problem and I felt very proud of my work.
